XDCAM file import

MAGIX Video Pro X supports importing and editing of professional XDCAM material
without the need to upgrade.

Records from various sources

Choose one of several optional recording sources like camcorder (DV, HDV, AVCHD,
DVD, hard drive, memory card), webcam, TV card, screen capturing or a USB video
converter.
Import and export of all important media formats

MAGIX Video Pro X supports all conventional video, audio, and graphics formats,

high-performance processor, but also those of your graphics card to decode HDV

Image stabilization

Built-in image stabilization balances undesired picture movements.
Inadvertent movements in the image are stabilized by moving the image in the
opposite direction to offset undesired movements, and the result is a clearly more
stable, almost imperceptibly larger picture.

3D title effects

Impressive 3D text animations can be generated using the built-in MAGIX 3D Maker
module. Design 3D titles however you imagine.

Powerful title editor

The integrated title editor allows you to change the size and position of text at any
location in the image to create impressive title animations. Production of numerous
scrolling and blending effects is especially easy with the help of a range of practical
presets, e.g. for captions or subtitles.

MultiCam editing

Synchronize up to four camera recordings of events like weddings, concerts, or
theatrical performances, and change the perspective in real time with a mouse click.

the timeline via detailed audio analysis.

Time Stretching

Change the length of your video and audio objects simply by stretching and dragging
with the mouse. Audio objects maintain their original pitch.

Precise keyframe functions with Bézier curves

The keyframe editor enables extensive control over video effects in two steps:
Quickly access object-based effects settings in the Media Pool and precisely edit
Bézier curve control on the timeline directly as required.

3-way color correction

Use color wheels with shadows, median values, light, and professional exposure
control according to the lift, gamma, and gain principles. Smooth out color errors,
produce a "special look", or highlight naturally present colors.

Extensive audio dubbing

Apply audio effects on either objects or entire tracks in the timeline.
Professional effects like DeClipping, DeNoiser, DeHisser, equalizer, compressor, stereo
effects, echo, reverb, pitchshift, and more help you get the best out of your sound.

Realtime audio mixer

MAGIX Video Pro X includes a real-time mixer with a master effects section.
Besides the effects in the audio object (reverb/echo, timestretch/resample,
Surround, etc.), a separate effects rack with equalizer, reverb/echo, compressor
as well as plug-ins can be used in every mixer track.

Dolby® Digital 5.1 surround sound

Use Dolby® Digital 5.1 Creator to create real Surround sound with channel control
and mix it live with the audio mixer.

Master audio levels display

The master audio level display, which is integrated directly into the timeline, indicates
the total volume at a glance to avoid clipping and distorted sections in your work.

DVD authoring with up to 8 audio tracks

Create DVDs using numerous attractive templates that you can manually customize
however you want. Menus that you customize can be saved for later, too.
Use the film material from your own project to create uniquely personalized DVD menus.
Extended MPEG-2 settings provide full control over the image quality.
Up to 8 active/inactive stereo sound tracks can also be added to your DVDs.

Burn to Blu-ray Disc™

Get full HD quality throughout the entire editing process, and then burn your projects
onto Blu-ray DiscTM with animated menus and 6-channel PCM Surround sound using
the same functional scope as conventional DVD production (BDMV).
